Favorite trick: Airs are awesome and I am going to get really more consistent at them.

Longboarding when: I get to teach others how to surf on a longboard, too. Thats how it all started for me!.

Skating when: Used to do a lot of parking garage skating with my longboard but these days there are too many cars.

Paddle boarding when: I teach SUP yoga and how to paddle board first so they are used to being on the water before they try yoga on a board in the water — definitely important! and fun!

Yoga when: I teach yoga 4 times a week, and practice Budokon 2 times a week for 3 hours. so I get my fair share of yoga, thats for sure!

Favorite food: Burritos, cheese of all kinds and definitely chocolate covered almonds.

Favorite music: Honestly I like everything — just depends on my mood. Local friends bands like: Ydiz, Telekinetic Walrus, Afrobeta, Phantasman, Dusthead. Then stuff like: tokimonsta, teebs, toro y moi, unknown mortal orchestra, Chemical Brothers, Apex Twin, Quantic, Modeselektor, Waga Waga, Tame Impala, tons of reggae… and the list goes on forever.

Destination of dreams: Every present moment and of course to travel and surf the world over time.

Stacey carved her life to suit surfing, as a freelance graphic designer, artist, yoga instructor, and boat detailer, in which she makes her own schedule and works at her own pace. Stacey teaches Stand Up Paddleboard Yoga, Budokon Yoga, as well as a traditional vinyasa flow. With paddleboard yoga she fuses the three elements involved in surfing – the water, the board, and the person – which is essential for proper balance training. In Budokon, they fuse yoga and martial arts, and she is currently working towards her blue belt in their MMA system, after she passed her red belt testing. She is experimenting with the development of adaptable Budokon Yoga sequence that works on a Paddleboard and Indo Yoga Board, while achieving the amazing benefits of both Budokon and SUP yoga. As a freelance artist, she loves taking inspiration from the ocean and nature for her pieces.
